Six modules.
One continuous process.

From geospatial-data-based risk analysis and standards-compliant design of protective measures to the completed risk report and procurement-ready tender — all in one platform.

Vehicle Dynamics Analysis

Barricadix software analyses potential approach routes to the defined protected area and calculates, for each relevant access route, the attainable speeds, vehicle types, and resulting impact energies. Vehicle threats are thereby not estimated in broad terms, but assessed on a data-driven basis — as a reliable foundation for selecting appropriate protective measures and protection classes.

  • Automatic detection of relevant approach routes
  • Calculation of attainable speeds per access route
  • Determination of resulting impact energy in kJ
  • Assessment of various vehicle types and threat models
  • Basis for protection class, barrier selection, and positioning

Attack Scenario Analysis

Barricadix software simulates relevant attack scenarios and makes visible which access routes, driveways, or approach points could potentially be used to reach a defined protected area. This allows exposed areas, critical vulnerabilities, and particularly relevant threat vectors to be identified early and prioritised for further planning.

  • Simulation of relevant attack scenarios
  • Identification of critical access routes and approach points
  • Marking of exposed areas and vulnerabilities
  • Assessment and prioritisation by risk level
  • Basis for targeted planning of protective measures

Risk & Threat Analysis

Identification of potential perpetrator behaviour and attack patterns through data-driven analyses, machine learning, and crime-prevention assessment methods based on CPTED. Situational, spatial, criminological, and other security-relevant factors are taken into account. Results support the determination of the threat coefficient in accordance with DIN SPEC 91414-2.

  • Criminological assessment of potential threat situations
  • Analysis of environmental factors and criminal opportunities
  • AI-powered detection of security-relevant patterns
  • Structured derivation of the threat coefficient

Recommendation & Design of Protective Measures

Manufacturer-neutral recommendation as well as design and arrangement of suitable, certified protective measures (bollards, vehicle barriers, barriers, security fencing, boom barriers) in accordance with the requirements of DIN ISO 22343 and the Technische Richtlinie Mobile Fahrzeugsperren v0.8.

  • Manufacturer-neutral product matching
  • Protection class and suitability per access route
  • Standards-compliant arrangement and design
  • Speed-reducing measures
  • Exclusively certified products

Risk Report

A structured risk report with a traceable assessment, map material, and documented action recommendations is generated from the analysis results. The report summarises risks, threats, and recommended protective measures in a comprehensible way and serves as a reliable basis for operators, planners, police, authorities, and other project stakeholders.

  • Automatically generated DOCX and PDF report
  • Structured presentation of risks, assessment, and measures
  • Map annex with protected area, access routes, and analysis results
  • Traceable documentation of assumptions and recommendations
  • Usable for coordination, approval, and further planning

Tender

Structured specifications and tender documents for suitable vehicle access protection and security measures are generated from the analysis results. The content is prepared on a project-specific basis, formulated in a manufacturer-neutral way, and prepared so that it can be used for procurement processes, internal coordination, and further implementation.

  • Structured specification of services for protective measures
  • Automatically prepared items based on the analysis
  • Manufacturer-neutral formulation of requirements
  • Export as GAEB or PDF
  • Usable for tendering, coordination, and implementation
Methodology & Traceability

Assessed according to a clear methodology. Documented for reliable decisions.

Barricadix combines geospatial-data-based analyses, vehicle dynamics calculations, and standards-oriented assessment logic into a traceable decision-making process.

Standards-oriented assessment

The methodology is aligned with relevant requirements from standards, guidelines, and technical regulations for vehicle access protection and perimeter security.

Reproducible analysis

Assessments are carried out according to uniform criteria and can be applied consistently for comparable protected areas.

Documented assumptions

Input data, assessments, and recommendations are documented transparently and remain traceable for all parties involved.

Usable results

The analysis results serve as a basis for security concepts, coordination with authorities, protective measure planning, and tendering.
